The Church of Santa Cristina has been open to the public since 2007 and every year from October to May hosts unique musical events with outstanding performers. Santa Cristina is the seat of Schola Gregoriana Benedetto XVI, which exists to promote and spread Gregorian chant.
The concert will be preceded by a welcome cocktail.

The "Orchestra Nazionale dei Conservatori" was born from the idea and aims to gather the best students of the Italian musical institutions, to perform artistic activity, even at major national events.
The ONC is generally composed of about 58 elements (2 flutes, 1 piccolo, 2 clarinets, 2 Oboe, 2 bassoons, 2 trumpets, 2 trombones, 2 horns, 1 Timpani, 1 Percussion, 1 Harp, 22 Violin, Viola 8, 6 Cello, 4 bass).

Genus Bononiae museums tour
Genus Bononiae "Musei nella Città" is a cultural, artistic, and museum oriented itinerary through historical palazzi located in the centre of Bologna. The tour will take the visitors to: San Colombano, which houses the collection of ancient musical instruments donated by Maestro Luigi Ferdinando Tagliavini; Palazzo Fava, with the Carracci frescoes, dedicated to temporary exhibitions.
In an effort to describe and illustrate the genus, the traditions of the Bolognesi - past and present - Genus Bononiae offers the visitor an urban itinerary that recounts the history, life, creations and dreams of the city’s inhabitants. Genus Bononiae is an urban itinerary that illustrates the history, life, beauty and dreams of the city of Bologna. The streets become corridors and the palazzi main halls, in a continuous link to the other museums, galleries, and cultural realities that animate the local community.

Guided tour of Ravenna and Basilica of Sant' Apollinare in Classe
Ravenna, a city with ancient origins and capital three times, of the Western Roman Empire, of King Theodoric of the Goths and of the Byzantine Empire in Europe. The monuments of the city contain the richest heritage of mosaics dating from the 5th and 6th centuries.
The Basilica of Sant'Apollinare in Classe is an important monument of Byzantine art in Ravenna. The exterior has a large facade with two simple uprights and one mullioned window with three openings. The fine 9th century round bell tower is later additions.

The departure from Bologna is scheduled at 8.30 am by bus and the return at 5 pm. Lunch will be offered by the organization.
