WP4 Successful Storytelling Seminar on Erasmus+ Mobility at Hanoi University

The storytelling seminar on Erasmus+ mobility, organized within the framework of WP4 of the STRIVE project – “Capacity-building capitalizing on staff and students experiences in mobility” – took place on 5 January at Hanoi University, Vietnam.

The event brought together over 80 participants, both in person and online, from the project partner institutions and from 14 Vietnamese universities newly involved in STRIVE. During the seminar, Vietnamese staff and students shared their success stories related to Erasmus+ mobility projects, offering first-hand insights into the impact of their international experiences and the challenges they encountered. The discussion enabled participants to formulate recommendations aimed at making future mobility opportunities even more accessible and meaningful for upcoming beneficiaries.

The seminar was followed by a second working day focused on coordination activities among the STRIVE project partners. On this occasion, institutions concentrated on finalizing the planned sustainability outputs, including: infosheets on the international dimension of Vietnamese universities, designed to enhance their visibility beyond the country; an internationalization monitoring tool to track progress in terms of international cooperation; and the Virtual Internationalization Center, intended to expand collaboration opportunities among Vietnamese universities and with European higher education institutions for future mobility and capacity-building projects.

Finally, a discussion was held on the preparation of a project proposal on sustainable tourism in Vietnam, one of the key expected outcomes of the STRIVE project, developed in collaboration with Magnolia Travel, a company committed to supporting local communities.
