TRACED Erasmus+ Project: second dissemination meeting

The 2nd dissemination meeting foreseen in the framework of the TRACED project took place at the University of Palermo’s premises at the occasion of the AlmaLaurea’s 2023 annual conference

On the 12th of June 2023, the second dissemination meeting foreseen in the framework of the TRACED project took place at the University of Palermo’s premises at the occasion of the AlmaLaurea’s annual conference organized to illustrate the results of the 2022 census surveys on Italian graduates’ profile and employment status.

The 2023 AlmaLaurea Conference, “Geographical mobility of graduates: which sustainability?”, paved the way for illustrating to a wide audience – more than 400 participants among national, regional and local authorities, research and business communities attended the conference in presence and online – the involvement of AlmaLaurea as co-chair of the Working Group on mobile graduates, established within Eurograduate 2022 in order to provide strategic input for a concept of European administrative data sharing for mobile graduates.

Furthermore, it was recalled that AlmaLaurea is collaborating in the framework of the TRACED project with the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR) and Italian National Institute of Statistics (ISTAT) for the release of a feasibility study on administrative data sources integration at national level.

Following an introduction to the main results of the surveys conducted by AlmaLaurea – 281,000 graduates from 77 universities involved in the 2022 graduates’ profile survey and 670,000 graduates from 78 universities involved in the 2022 graduate tracking survey, the Conference hosted two round tables on “Geographical mobility for study and job reasons: features and challenges” and “High level training and local development”.

Thus, the attendees had the opportunity to discuss those topics also in a European comparative perspective in the light of the experience gained by AlmaLaurea through its participation to the peer learning activities and plenary meeting attended within Eurograduate 2022, which involves 17 European countries.
