EMSIV Erasmus+ Project: awarness raising conference, seminar and focus group

From 9 to 10 of September 2025 took place the Erasmus+ EMSIV Project meeting. The EMSIV Project, “Empowerment of Ethnic Minority Students in Vietnam”, in line with the EU overarching priority “Sustainable Growth and Job”, is intended to promote a comprehensive dialogue on ethnic minorities in higher education in Vietnam by enhancing the networking among national stakeholders in order to promote their commitment for a successful inclusion of ethnic minority students into the labour market.

The meeting was organized by the project partner Thai Nguyen University at University Campus in Lao Cai City, an area in North of Vietnam with an significant population belonging to ethnic minority groups. 

The topics of the meeting were represented by awareness conference, seminar and focus group with students, all topics related to ethnic minorities. 

Participants from Europe: EMSIV Project coordinator, AlmaLaurea Interuniversity Consortium. 

Participants from Vietnam include: Hanoi University, Thai Nguyen University, main headquarter, Nha Trang University, Tay Nguyen University, Agriculture and Forestry Research & Development Center for Mountainous Region and Management Board of Hanoi Industrial Zones and Processing & Export Areas. 

The meeting was attended in presence by 50 attendees, including staff members of the Project Consortium, keynote speakers, former students, and students of the University.
